Prop 15, the $11.5 billion-a-year property tax hike, is on the November ballot. Make no mistake: supporters of this attack on Prop 13 have made it clear that they plan to come after our homes next.
On many occasions, Prop 15’s backers have admitted that this is the first step in their plan to repeal Prop 13 entirely. This means skyrocketing property taxes for all California homeowners. DO NOT let them raise your taxes.
For more than 40 years, Prop 13 has provided certainty to property owners that they can afford their property taxes, no matter what happens to real estate values over time.
