PROP 15 WILL PUT
EDUCATION
LAST IN LINE
PROP 15 PRIORITIZES BUREAUCRATS FIRST, LOCAL GOVERNMENT SECOND, EDUCATION LAST
So much for schools first…

NO REFORMS & ZERO GUARANTEES MONEY IS SPENT IN THE CLASSROOM
Prop 15 contains no reforms to hold local politicians accountable. There’s no guarantee that our tax dollars will be spent in the classroom.

PROP 15 SENDS
ABOUT 70% TO STATE & LOCAL GOVERNMENTS.
EDUCATION GETS THE LEFTOVERS
Schools are the lowest priority in Prop 15. Only about 30 percent of the tax revenue will go to schools. About 70 percent of the new money goes to the state and local governments to spend however they want.

VOTE NO IN NOVEMBER!
HOW CAN “EDUCATION” MONEY BE SPENT?
Prop 15’s lack of transparency means local politicians can waste the new tax money on:
- Outside consultants
- Pay raises
- Retiree pensions & benefits
